Running the WAM-Powered Gallery Health Check

The WAM Gallery Health Check performs a comprehensive 75-point inspection of your Alteryx environment, providing clear, actionable recommendations to optimize performance and stability.

To initiate the Health Check, click the green “Gallery Health Check” button. This will generate a summary report in Microsoft Word format. If you opt to include supporting details, the following additional outputs will be generated:

  • Lifecycle Reports – delivered in Excel format
  • Audit Reports – delivered in Word format
  • Detailed Job History Report – delivered in Excel format

All output files will be saved to your WAM Health Check Reports folder within the configured WAM Output Directory.

Important: The Health Check process runs several resource-intensive jobs in the background. We strongly recommend configuring your Email Settings in WAM beforehand. When enabled, WAM will automatically notify you via email once the reports have been successfully generated.

Note: Because this report takes a lot of power, please make sure all your workflows are parsed. Parsing all your workflows is a simple process, but it does take a while to fully parse, especially if you have thousands of workflows. To fully parse your workflows, click the check box at the column header of the Workflow Viewer pane and then click the Blue Parse button that appears. Additionally, we recommend that you start this process at a time when your computer can run with minimal other processes, like running at the end of your work day.
